Production is where an API is now open for business. This is where documentation, SDKs, plans, terms of service, privacy policies, and other elements are in place. This is where blog posts, videos, and other communication occurs, making an API widely known amongst target consumers.
This stage is where we go back to the beginning and start all over again, gathering all notes and feedback and feeding it back into the definition stage. Production monitoring, reports, support, and feedback will all be used to document the fixes and features that will be considered for the next minor or patch release, but also begin accumulating what will be in the next major release.
